Chief Executive Officer Position
The Organization
Partner4Work (P4W), formally known as Three Rivers Workforce Investment Board is the leader of Pittsburgh/Allegheny County’s public workforce system. Through innovative initiatives and programs spanning every facet of the workforce, Partner4Work bridges the gap between people looking for work and companies in need of talent.

As one of 22 Workforce Development Boards in Pennsylvania, and headquartered in downtown Pittsburgh, P4W leads a comprehensive, world-class workforce development system through strategic partnerships, investments, and innovation. With a robust portfolio of programs and initiatives, P4W connects the funding, expertise, and opportunities for employers, job seekers, agencies, and policymakers to develop a thriving workforce.

Though primarily funded by the federal government via the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, approximately 20% of P4W’s funding now comes from the Greater Pittsburgh foundation community. The Position
The Chief Executive Officer is a preeminent champion for businesses and job seekers with the entrepreneurial spirit necessary to lead, inspire, convene, engage, and deliver results on behalf of the P4W Board of Directors and in compliance with the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA).

The Chief Executive Officer is the chief administrator who provides day- to-day leadership and demonstrates the ability to develop, articulate, and communicate the vision of the Board and Local Elected Officials. The individual is a dynamic and strategic thinker with strong financial and political acumen able to see the big picture to continue to advance the mission of P4W.

This position reports to the Executive Committee of the Board of Partner4Work.

P4W CEO Final Position Profile

Central Pennsylvania Workforce Development Corporation
announces the release of a request for proposals to competitively seek a provider of Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act Title I Out-of-School Youth services in the following counties: Centre, Clinton, Lycoming, and Mifflin. 

Funds released through this RFP will be contracted for services in all four counties from March 19, 2018 through June 30, 2019, with an option to extend funding annually through June 30, 2020 based on successful performance outcomes and available funding. The anticipated contract start date is February 5, 2018 allowing time for provider to onboard staff with OSY services to begin March 19, 2018.
