2018 Annual Conference

PA Workforce Development Association
34th Annual Employment, Training and Education Conference
May 16-18, 2018
Hershey Lodge, Hershey, PA

The PA Workforce Development Association’s Annual Employment, Training and Education Conference features informative speakers, more than 50 workshops, and opportunities to network with professionals working at all levels of the workforce development system. Conference speakers and training sessions will address emerging workforce challenges as workforce professionals chart a new course for employment and job-training policy to keep Pennsylvania competitive in a global economy. Staff of workforce development areas and their partner agencies attend the annual conference because it offers great value with relevant staff training and updates on a wide variety of timely and important subjects at a single, central location.

The conference features an exhibition hall with the most up-to-date, relevant products and partnerships. Governor’s Achievement Awards are presented to outstanding participants in workforce development, human services, and aging employment and training programs who have overcome obstacles and achieved success. State agencies also present awards to outstanding Pennsylvania employers for their contributions and support of the commonwealth’s workforce development system.
